Santos Laguna - Campeon

Yo Soy Campeon y Tu Tambien (I am the Champion & You too)
Hi!!
Sorry for not writing for a long time. It’s that I had exams and many things.
Well, now I’m writing about the Champion Team of Mexican Football League - “Santos Laguna”.
Santos is the foot ball team from our Laguna region (comprising of our city Torreon, Gomez Palacio and Lerdo). They won the finals against Cruz Azul yesterday (3-2).
Santos was created by the IMSS (Instituto Mexicano de Seguro Social) on 1983 and it is a glory that it has won its 3rd National Championship in this 25th year. It was in 2nd division 5 years, and it played its first game in 1st division on 16th October of 1988.
Now the Comarca Lagunera is very excited about this triumph. This is the 3rd National championship for Santos. The first one was in summer of 1996 and the second one was on summer of 2001. Now in Clausura 2008 it’s again the champion. It was Super Leader during Apertura 2007 but lost in semifinals.
The members of this Santos team are:
Goal keepers: Oswaldo Sánchez, Miguel Becerra, Francisco González
Defenders: Iván “Guti” Estrada, Fernando “Tano” Ortiz, Rafael Figueroa, Edgar “El Hobbit” Castillo, Osmar Mares, Juan Pablo Santiago
Midfielders: Daniel “El Hachita” Ludueña, Fernando Arce, Walter “El Lorito” Jiménez, Juan Pablo “Chato” Rodríguez, Paco Torres, Jorge Barrera, Alberto Soto, Johniee García
Strikers: Christian Benítez, Vicente “El Toro” Vuoso, Oribe “Cepillo” Peralta, Mario Sánchez, Agustín Herrera
Coach: -Daniel “El Travieso” Guzmán
Some players in Santos are from other countries such as Argentina & Ecuador and they have contributed a lot for this win.
You can know more about Santos in the following link
Everyone is very happy because this team deserved the championship.
